Hi, Oakton families:
We are happy to let you know the PTA has invited Sticky Fingers, a local in-school cooking program, to join our enrichment lineup!
Beginning Monday, March 23, and open to K-5th graders, the program brings a real chef into our school to teach kids how to slice, dice and cook up a storm! Classes will meet at 3:45 (location tbd) every Monday until May 18.
Please be on the lookout for flyers in your child’s backpack in the next week or so. Classes will cost $14.50 each, with no drop-ins permitted. Classes are capped at 12 kids, so be sure to register early!
In the meantime, check out the attached recipe to see what kinds of dishes your (Julia) Child will be mastering this spring.
